This is my go to spot now! Yesterday I ordered chicken and waffles and let me tell you it was so good and fresh. Not only does their lemon pepper seasoning pair with the chicken so well, but everything tastes so good and fresh!! It’s one of my favorite things to order there! Definitely recommend. Everyone who works there as well is so friendly and keep the space very clean. I recommend trying the fish and tenders next time as well, with Mac and cheese! Thats also a go to of mine. 5 stars for sure

Truly enjoyed the food from hip hop fish & chicken and I’m so excited that they opened their beltsville location! Their chicken and fish is always fried to perfection and they have the perfect sides as well. Definitely try those spicy green beans and hush puppies. And you MUST get extra of the ‘crack’ seasoning on everything! This new location also sells pizza & they’re constantly having specials so check them out!

I was kind of scared ordering off doordash plus all the bad reviews but they did not disappoint. The fried whitening was good & NO BONES ..PERFECT the fried shrimp was also good and they packed my bag with plenty of sauces !!! 10/10

I was a first timer and had several questions but that did not stop the cook to brake down the sandwich in parts such as preparing cooking and paring. They knew their food and I was pleased.

Food was very good. Hot and fresh with amazing flavors. Waffle was better than homemade but a bit soft. Need a little crisp to it. The menu is full of great freshly cooked fish and shrimp and the pizza is made in front of you and hot out of the oven.. My chicken was cooked fresh and had great flavors. My fry order was enough for 2 people, crispy, hot and great seasoning. There's a huge selection of drinks and dessert. It is worth the trip.

We are back to check out the new location & menu items like pizza, which is only available at this location! One thing that really stood out to us was the crispy Catfish Bites, the flavorful cheesy Mac & Cheese Nuggets and the bomb fried okra! They have fried chicken breast at this location but could be less dry. The Half & Half drink was on point! This location has indoor seating and you can also do take out. They offer parking since it's in a shopping center. Prices are reasonable and they offer a variety of fried foods and sides. The crack salt is seriously legit.

I was at the spot last night, and honestly, I wasn’t going to say anything because I know how hard it is to run a business. I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but this experience was hard to ignore. There was a short, dark-skinned guy behind the counter. He was on his phone the whole time while taking my order, barely said anything, and when my food was ready, he just handed me the bag without a word, no “thank you” no “do you need any sauces” nothing. Then he walked off to a spot near the pizza prep table, away from where my food had been made, still on the phone, just chatting like nothing happened. I’ve never experienced that kind of service in any restaurant. What really bothered me is my wife had the same experience a while back—same guy, same rude energy. I didn’t think much of it then, but seeing it firsthand changed that. I’m an African American man, and I actually enjoy supporting places like this. Me and my family buy from here often and we like the food, but service like that? It pushes people away. I’m saying this with respect, not hate. I hope it helps things improve.
